Deadspin has a pic that they PS'd with him in a Vikings uni. I can't link it because of the freaking filename they used for it, though.
Can anyone change this picture and make farve have on a vikings jersey???

if ted thompson wants to keep his job.. or life for that matter.. he will have to let favre come back.. green bay would be a complete riot if favre went to another team..

We aren't all saying that. I'd take him in a heartbeat....but I would of course have to root against him, which would be odd.
Today they said the Pack would welcome him back as a backup - not what Brett had in mind. Aaron Rogers is a free agent in 09. Brohm is the qb of the future. Protest by a 100 fans today. What a mess in Packland. No 4 jerseys on the rack for clearance.
The Packers are only going to hurt themselves by this action. It can't be good for team morale to pick a starter without it being decided on the field. Farve has to have his share of supporters on the roster. Not to mention what this does to the team payroll and cap space.
Wait, I think I said he would pull this stunt this spring when he first retired. I'll believe that he will stay retired when I see he isn't on a camp roster anywhere.
He hasn't been to any OTA's that alone would say that Rogers is the starter and Favre would have to beat him out, happens all the time with rookie holdouts.
