NFL: Favre has cracked rib?

About as much as I was laughing at Cutler's return to Denver last night...

I'm a huge Vikings fan, but I hope this is serious, and keeps him out. I am having a really hard time coming to grips with that grizzled old tool in purple. I'd love to see Sage as the starter. I think he gives the Vikes just as good a chance as Favre.

I found this comment after the story pretty funny:
It's not a cracked rib, that's the rib God took out of him to make Eve, he's that old! Thank you, thank you, I'm here all week. Try the veal!

This isn't seeming like a waste of money at all.

Hey Chuck - is it really necessary to take a shot at a Bronco fan in this thread - especially knowing we're going to have a horrid year? Take your all-pro QB and zip it!!

Sorry I had to! I would expect the same thing if the show was on the other foot!

I know, I know.....I'm just a little bitter seeing Baby Jay come back to Denver and hand it to us at Invesco.....he got it done though and looked pretty good out there.

I admit that I was hoping to see Brian Dawkins come on a safetey blitz and turn his lights out....it didn't happen though.

Oh, nothing like some Favre speculation for a MNF showdown.....how did the NFL ever exist without him?.....:jimlad:

Maybe Favre's wife is the culprit and gave him a right hook in the ribs b/c the guy snored too loud last night.......or maybe Sage gave him a left hook in the ribs in the shower after Favre "stared a little too long".......or maybe a true Packer fan finally got close enough to throw a shoe at him while yelling "I named my 3 sons after you, you purple blooded SOB!!!!" :biglaugh:

So, this is the "hater" thread? Guess I don't belong, then.

Still, I guess we'll see how well he does with some small breathing difficulty. Doesn't sound like it's even been X-rayed.
