Favorite/Least Favorite Pro Teams - keep the theme going

Favorites
MLB - Red Sox. Watched them in '75 against the Reds so no, I am not a bandwagon guy. St. Louis Cardinals after that. They were my dad's favorite team.
NBA - Celtics. Don't have a second favorite.
NFL - Bengals. Others - Cardinals, Packers, Chiefs, Bears, Patriots.


Least Favorite
MLB - Yankees, Devil Rays, Marlins, Diamondbacks, Rockies. (I hate expansion in baseball).
NBA - Lakers, Knicks, Suns, Supersonics, Mavericks.
NFL - Vikings, Ravens, Buccaneers, Broncos
 
Faves: Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves

Least Faves: Yanks, ChiSox, Braves, Packers, Bears, Cowboys,Lakers, and Knicks

MLB - Cubs
NBA - Not a big fan of the NBA, but find myself watching the Mavricks often.
NFL - Steelers (Way to stick it to NE last night!!)

MLB - Yankees (you're not all that, get over yourselves_
NBA - Any team Kobe is on
NFL - Cowboys (you are not and never will be "America's Team". Just because you say it, doesn't make it so)

My faves..

MLB: Atlanta Braves- Growing up watching David Justice and co, running around the house doing the tomahawk chop, is still one of my all time favorite memories!!


NFL: New York Football Giants- Dad grew up in Rome, New York....still thanking Scott Norwood :wink:

NBA: Dont really get into anymore, but if I had to choose I would say the Lakers just because I used to LOVE watching Magic play!!!

NFL Cowboys, Vikings, Bears for obvious reasons
NBA Lakers, Jazz- Why did they keep the nickname after they moved?
MLB Cubs, Yankees, Red Sox- Cubs, cause they are the Cubs, Red Sox and Yankees cause they can pay each Brewer 5 times what they are making now and not sweat it.

*I was a huge Bulls fan during the first 3-peat run. What really pissed me off and drove me away from the team (and into becoming primarily a Magic fan) was how virtually everyone in America became a fairweather fan of the Bulls during that time. Now I can't stand them.
 
Least favorites:


  1. Washington Generals - Total futility. Could never get over the hump against the Globetrotters.
  2. Long Island Lizards - The dirtiest professional lacrosse team, bar none.
  3. Fremantle Football Club - Completely unlikeable Australian Rules Football team.

NFL - Buccaneers - I have an aunt & uncle who live in St. Pete who have been season ticket holders since 1976. Used to take me to a game every year when I was a wee lad.

MLB - Cubs

NBA - Pacers - Fan ever since His Majesty Mayor Hoiberg was there. Ripped off in the 1998 Eastern Conf. Finals.


Least Faves

NFL - Cowboys, Raiders (every inmate in America says this is their favorite team)

MLB - Cardinals, White Sox, Yankees, Red Sox

NBA - Lakers
