Farmageddon Feelings?

I have not seen any threads about K-State yet this week, so I wanted to ask why.

I don't care too much at this point since ISU has clinched a bowl game and doesn't have a chance for the title game.

I think it'd be hilarious if we won, because John Kurtz has nicknamed CMC, "Mr. 7-5," so it'd be funny if we knocked them down a peg by getting to 7-5 by beating the Wildcats.

We're actually due for another 7-5 season based upon history.

It would be great to get one more win. On the other hand, if OSU were not able to get into the CCG, I might root for KSU. Provided they were to beat us of course.

I would hate to see a Texas v OU (OuT) conference championship game. That would suck.

Last regular season game. Another road win. 7-5 is way better, IMO, than 6-6. Better bowl game.

And lastly, it's an important game to win because it's a game and you should want to win them all, badly.

With all things considered. By my calculations. All things being equal. With the total possibility of outcomes being either "win" or "lose". I believe the chances of "win" to be somewhere in the mid level of calculations. With a common level of certainty. I would count that chance to be in the realm of possibilities. And thereby equal to fifty percent.

We’re likely down a few guys for Sat (mainly Verdon) which is a huge loss against a team like KSU. Plus they have all the momentum and reason not to lay an egg with a big 12 title game in play. Hope we can play spoiler

A few caveats… I don’t live in Iowa or the KC area, so I’m not near any KState people on a daily basis

This just feels like another game now. We’ve had some nasty games against them, but I don’t feel like buzz about it like other big games this weekend: The Game, Iron Bowl, FSU-UF, etc.

Maybe the stakes aren’t as high? We are already going bowling. We aren’t going to Dallas. Just feels different.

They realized it. They just put such a heavy priority on not giving anyone extra favors, as well as protecting in-state rivalries, that they weren't giving KSU two protected games.

KSU will almost certainly be eliminated from the Big 12 title game by kick off.

This is just about bragging rights and going out on a high note. There's not much to play for on paper, and everyone and their dog is on KSU right now.

Don't really care too much, tbh. Basketball season has started and we can't win the conference. But I "don't really care too much" in a positive sense. I think it's a good coaching job by Campbell to get this team to a bowl, I feel like there is some serious groundwork laid for next year, etc. Win this and/or the bowl to have a winning record and it's a great season.
