How do most people break ties? I'm in a game where we're tied, and our bench is tied. What do people usually do in that case? It seems like I've seen it before where you go with the top scorer for each team on down til you have a higher score? Ideas?

My league breaks ties by number of points scored by quarterbacks.

However, we start 2 QBs, which I don't think is real common.

it's always the home team. especially in the playoffs. that's the first and only tiebreaker. you gotta get something for finishing tops in your league

Both of our starting QB's finished with 18 points. We don't reward a home team. We were in different leagues, but he won his division, even though I finished with a better record. He was 2-0 during the regular season. This is a bit of a pickle, because we never really prepared for more of a tiebreaker and I'm the commish!!

then it's better record. better record gets homefield, etc. you have to reward the regular season somehow!

Bench Points
It kinda sucks during bye weeks but you shouldn't have that problem during the playoffs.

Nevermind. My freakin' Eagles screwed me again by getting a sack on that last drive to beat me by 1 point. Between that and the INT DMac threw just before the half that could have just been a FG (I had Akers going against the Eagles D. Down three points heading into the game), the Eagles have managed to crush my spirit once again. First, tying the Bengals, then knocking me out of the playoffs. What a wonderful football season it has been for me...

YEah, bench points. This is why I hate fantasy football, but love baseball and other roto sports. Head to head usually ends up screwin ya at the end of the year. The best team rarely seems to win.

I was ranked 4th, the last team to get in and just schelacked the top ranked team that only lost once all year and beat me by 50 points 3 weeks ago. Next week I get my shot at the gaudy little trophy.
