I'm in a keeper league and have to decide on which 2nd rate RB to keep on the roster. My options are LenDale White, Rudi Johnson, and Earnest Graham. I'm leaning toward Graham, but want to know what the masses think.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't keep any. I'd just keep your fingers crossed that Tim Biakabutuka might be available.

Problem is, one of those yahoos is probably my second best player. It's a 2 keeper league.

QBs: J. Campbell, Seneca, and Sage (couldn't leave the ISU guys on the bench)
RBs: McGahee (keeping), L. White, R. Johnson, E. Graham
WRs: C. Henry, L. Evans, J. Galloway, D. Driver

Is it a huge league? Cause if not, I don't think that team would fare well.

I'm personally not a big fan of keeper leagues. Cause unless you have a LT, Peyton, or someone of that caliber, you're at a big disadvantage. And the only keeper league I've been in I wasn't present for the draft and got a pretty poopy team. It's funny how yahoo's pre-rankings are so far off...

Id go with LenDale White. Put up decent yards and will once again be a run heavy team.

Only 12 teams. Rudi Johnson, Lee Evans, and Marc Bulger really killed me last year. At least I get an early draft position this year.

I need to buff up on my fantasy stats before our draft next week ... I normally would say keep Rudi and feel good about it, but maybe I'm living in the past - is he healthy?

Just off the cuff I'd go: RJ, Graham, White.

White is bound to **** the coach off somehow or come in out of shape again.

It depends what it costs you to keep him... what round in the draft do you lose for keeping him (him being graham)? If it doesn't cost you anything... I'd keep graham... but if it does... you need to think about what you would get if you decided to not keep graham but instead take the draft pick.

I won't lose any draft pick. Our league is set up where you need to keep 2 players from last year and the draft order is based on last years standings. So, I just need to keep 2 guys from my crappy team.

Some teams had more than 2 good players, so I should be able to pick up a decent WR or QB with the 2nd overall pick.

by the looks of your team it might not matter whom you keep, they might not be a tarter on your team, except maybe Lee Evans or Joey Galloway as 3rd string WR's. So i might take one of them and start over from scratch. Im betting you can find a better 2nd RB or QB than what you already have.

So id go with LenDale or Evans, or galloway.

It's a 2 RB, 3WR, 1 RB/WR league. So RB's are generally more valuable since they are more reliable on getting at least some points.

But there is a good chance he can still pick up a good RB with his 1st round pick. I told him to take LenDale, but you gotta think that no matter whom he takes, this is his 2nd round pick and hes not getting 2nd round talent. So take the position you can afford to screw up on and have him sit the bench.

Yeah, no offense, but your team appears to suck.

Lee Evans is concentrated evil. No idea why I kept him on my team last year as long as I did.

My team does (did) suck. But this year is a whole new season with all new people...except for McGahee and whichever one of these guy I decide to keep.

Good thing about fantasy football is the turnover of players from year to year. New hope of good things...kind of like ISU football.

Maybe it's more work than it's worth... but I'd look at all other teams... and then figure out which guys they're going to keep and which guys will be available for you to draft. If you think there will be a better RB than Graham (imo) on the board with your 3rd pick, then keep a WR... otherwise I'd just keep him and stack up on the other positions during your draft (and at some point look at some rookies that may work into a starting role by next year).

Looking at player rankings... my guess is if you keep a WR... Graham will be among of the top RBs left on the board (Turner, Brown, T. Jones, Jacobs, Young, Rudi Johnson) with your first pick so you'll HAVE to take him cuz you'll be screwed at RB if you wait till your next pick. This means that the WR you keep will have to be better than what you would get with your first pick had you kept Graham.

I think you're better off keeping your fav RB (Graham imo) and drafting an Elite WR/QB because there should be one available with so many keeping their good RBs.

First off, your team is pretty rotten. I don't even know how you could've ended up with so many guys of late round caliber.

But I'm here to help you out: Don't keep Lendale White at all. If you do that, you might as well just give up. You could draft McFadden who will do better than White.

I'd keep Rudy Johnson. He has a different bye week than McGahee which helps a lot.

When drafting I'd grab either an elite QB or WR first. RB is important, but QB and WRs are putting up more fantasy points now than RBs for the most part.

Since you have two decent RBs, you can take a gamble on a 3rd RB. I'd pick up a reliable WR and QB first.

In the middle rounds, then you have to start just taking the best guy or the guy with the most upside.

Do you know who other's people's keepers are? If so PM me and I could lay out a good draft strategy for you.
