Excited for the 2013 season, Jets fans?

Aw, the teammate butt "tackle" was just symbolic of the Jets. They do bring some entertainment value.

it's butt"fumble" not butt"tackle" and it's the most glorious football play ever witnessed. Leaves the Immaculate Reception, Holy Roller, and Music City Miracle in the dust.

A few months ago some Jets co-worker was trying to talk smack. I just said "butt fumble".

/end smack talk

If you don't immediately know the term butt fumble and have not seen it - you are a communist.

I'm really hoping Geno gets it and he gets some nice welcomes to the NFL by opposing DEs.
Even if he doesn't earn it week 1 - I can't see how he won't start some games this season. The Jets seemingly have gone out of their way to mismanage the development of Mark to the point where they've all but ruined him as a QB.

No way be starts all 16 games.

Their biggest mistake this last offseason was firing Mike Tannenbaum but retaining Rex Ryan. If you're going to clean house then do it all in one fell swoop.

I'm not sure there's a lot to develop, he's just not very good.
Not everybody (especially at QB) that plays for USC is great.

I think they are somewhat hesitant to get rid of Rex because he still fields solid defenses, even despite all the injuries they've had. Don't see him lasting this season though if its the same **** show on offense.

Yeah, I don't question his ability to coach up a defense. I question the strategy of hiring a new GM and then not letting him pick his own guy to run the show on the field. It creates questions about who's really in charge and divisions within the locker room and throughout the organization.

Mark started out good and has a strong foundation to be a starting QB in the NFL. The Jets have just messed exerting up.
