Heard CW mention recently he had heard of there being an outside chance Burton may receive an exception and be eligible earlier than Dec 19. I believe it was on the CCL playoff preview podcast.

Obviously exceptions can be difficult to anticipate- Thomas at Oklahoma received one last season and McKay did not.

Anyone hear anything more about this? Hadn't seen any more talk of it on CF.

Chance = 5%, but only with the winds blowing in the right direction on a semi-sunny day when elephants are in heat and giraffes are mating with kangaroos, all while watching ESPN on Sling TV via a Windows Phone device.

I'm sure they'll tell ISU that we have to play with 4 next year.

Who knows, maybe this is year that the NCAA has a soft spot for Iowa State

The NCAA sad sack committeee below is still reviewing the waiver application.

I think this is going to hurt our chances.

Hey, they say good things come in threes.
First is the experimental rule for the division 1 post-conference, pre-tournament championship games where the guys now get 6 fouls each. (Who gets fouls called on them more than us?)
Second is the Edozie waiver-type thing.
Third could be this, or maybe Kansas printing themselves new t-shirts that say "Gold medal Dynasty" with the word Dynasty spelled wrong. I'm open to either dream.
