Every Day Carry Knives

Just lost a griptylian that I had for a few years that fell out of my pocket somewhere in the last month replaced it with a bugout. Got the stainless steel 20cv blade with some cool limited edition scales. So far I love the size and weight. Considering upgrading the scales to titanium at some point as the only complaint I have with the current scales is the VERY slight flex. Overall I'm in love with it.

What are some knives everyone else really likes for everyday carry, work, survival, etc? I'm a knife nerd and love to talk about blacksmithing as well.

cobratec knife
I'm a guy, so of course I'm interested in guy things, chainsaws, knives, etc. I use chainsaws quite a bit, and have a couple of cheaper knives. I do like my Leatherman Wingman, and my Gerber multitool is OK too. My son bought me a , Schrade fixed 5" blade, because I just thought I needed one, but it was likely only about $40.

Yes, I'd love a nice Benchmark, or maybe a spyderco, or cobratec, those look nice too. But I guess I just don't have the need, or maybe the endless cash, to justify a really superb blade? Like one though! What's not to like about a great and well built knife?
