Either ESPN missed the mark or ALL of us have. I think we will surprise people.

They drastically missed the mark. I am traditionally as realist as they come. I would be a bit surprised if they missed the NCAA this year. Do I expect them in the Top 50 in the preseason? Not necessarily. But #90????????

We may surprise people this year but I wouldn't set expectations as a tourney team without a single game being played.

Some other place had us in the tournament, I'm not expecting it, just saying that ESPN has us ranked 90 and another site has us in the tourney.

Do you truly believe this? Just want your take. I have had a few chances to watch them. I know you have more of a pulse on this. I think the early schedule portends well for them. I think they will get a ton of momentum from that.
The conference is really all over the map. They should be very tough at home. Dicey on the road. I think they have a very legitimate shot at the NCAA (and almost would deem anything else a bad season).

I firmly believe that ISU will have growing pains, but I also believe that ISU is the best team in the state and the scoreboard will prove that much in the coming month-ish. ISU will be in the post season, but I'm still not convinced that it won't be the NIT. Lot's 'o question marks.
