Ames State Farm® Agent Mark Doyle Hosts
Tailgating Party with ESPN College GameDay Bus

Thursday, January 15
4:00 – 6:30 p.m.
In advance of the ESPN’s College GameDay Covered by State Farm and the Iowa State vs. Kansas game on Saturday, January 17, Ames State Farm Agent Mark Doyle will host a tailgating party featuring the ESPN College GameDay Bus at his agency located at 2701 Stange Road on Thursday, January 15, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The GameDay bus features lounges with leather sofas and reclining captain’s chairs, a galley kitchen and rest room. The bus has seven HD televisions in the front, a rear lounge and five receivers in the rear lounge so the GameDay team can watch five different games at once in order to collect information for their shows.

ESPN’s College GameDay announce team (Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams), along with the production staff, use the bus for planning and preparation sessions and to relax between the Saturday morning show and evening telecasts. The bus travels throughout the country and stops at all eight of the College GameDay sites. The bus will be open for guests to tour during the tailgating party as well as get their photos taken with the bus. (the announce team will not be at the tailgate)

**** yea. That's awesome

Says the guy who started the thread months ago about whether GameDay would be coming before it had crossed the minds of almost all the rest of us.

2015, you should get to drive the bus!

I've heard whispers that there's a chance a few players could be there and possibly Dreamy, and there will be prizes and food. Will be a cool way to start off a great weekend for ISU basketball.

Sounds like the weather is perfect for tailgating! This bus should be parked outside of Hilton, next to the students camping out!

It would be cool if they showed up.
