did any one else watch this so far?

I kind of feel it was a disservice not mentioning the story of Jack Trice, but it brought up the Johnny Bright incident (not that that wasn't an insignificant event either). They even had a segment on the deaths from the game.
 
Good documentary. Trice's story would have been a nice inclusion in the section about race and racism and the development of the game. There are many stories one can use to represent that, however, and they just chose that one instead of Jack Trice.

The lack of video footage (for a documentary) probably had something to do with it. There are compelling images involved and preserved with Johnny Bright.

I was surprised they did not bring up this game in the section on race and Alabama...

I honestly don't think anybody nationally has a clue who Jack Trice was besides Iowa State's stadium being named after him hence why it didn't make the documentary. If/when College Gameday comes, it would be an amazing opportunity for ISU to pitch ESPN to do a story then.
