It is difficult to believe how little The Big East (33M), MWC (25M), Big 12 (87M), and PAC Ten (68M) took in from TV when compared to 200-240M of SEC and Big ten. No wonder people were griping.

It is difficult to believe how little The Big East (33M), MWC (25M), Big 12 (87M), and PAC Ten (68M) took in from TV when compared to 200-240M of SEC and Big ten. No wonder people were griping.

That is mostly because the Big Ten (BTN) and the SEC just signed new TV deals. As the deals for the current BCS conferences expire and are renegotiated, those numbers will increase for all the conferences. Not likely to the BTN/SEC levels, but they will increase.
