ESPN 30 for 30: The Two Escobars

I always thought it was pathetic that Colombians would murder their star futbol player because he accidentally knocked it into his own goal. Little did I know it was a drug-related "hit" - which makes it incredibly sad, and an incredible waste of a life of someone who wanted to give all to his country.

This episode has to be at least in the Top 2 of the 30 for 30 series thus far and I think I have seen all of them to this point.

Ditto. I really thought it was good. I loved "The U" and Ice Cube's Raiders one was pretty good.

I loved "The 16th Man" as well. "Invictus" focused more on the political story of South Africa and how the Springboks were involved - "The 16th Man" told the more of the story of the Springboks themselves.

The U is the only 30 for 30 I've seen and it was damn good. Though I don't like ESPN, I hope they come out on DVD with all of them.

All of them are available through Amazon. Just search "30 for 30".
