I know Eric Show gave up Pete Rose's big hit...but I remember him as hitting Andre Dawson in the face which set Andre off big time! Anyway...what a strange and sad story:

Thanks for posting. I remember Show playing but didn't recall the demise. It also makes me think about how to treat my boys. His father really sent him on a tough road with the abuse be handed out.
