New thread for all things Emmanuel Malou.

-Dropped 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a 77-75 win tonight.

-Game before this they lost big but Malou had 14 points, 14 rebounds and 6 blocks. Struggled a bit with his shot. 1-8 from 3. Here's the replay from that game.

(Mods if you don't like there being an individual thread for each recruit could you merge it into one and title it incoming recruits thread?)

I love how Yuba is using him at the 3 on the perimeter this season. He's going to be a versatile player.

I talked to Malou a few weeks ago after his game where he scored just 13 points and he was talking about how frustrating his last few games had been because teams have been double and triple teaming him. Just shows you how talented he is.

thompsonclone getting creepy with recruits again

Box score from their loss tonight. Just a solid night for Malou. (17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks)

Wow, Yuba's really bad. 3-6 overall. And shot 0-18 on 3's that game linked above (Tinsley's JC FWIW). For the year 40% FG% as a team, 21% on 3's. Also, 91 out of 92 teams in CA in scoring at 47 pts/g. Yikes!

Edit: They have a player who shoots 12% on nearly 6 3's a game. What a train wreck.

Somebody let Fran know. He'll need someone to replace Jok soon.

In one game video, they weren't even using Malou as an offensive weapon. Sometimes I think they should not let him roam on the perimeter so much and get him the ball inside. But, maybe he just wasn't being aggressive the one game I watched.

Maybe he should work on his extra pass then?

Can we not talk about Malou here and instead talk about comparisons of next year's team vs 2013's team?

I'd rather talk about how next years step back is Fred's fault and ignore the fact that being a top 5 team is also his fault.
