i admit my labeling of him as a sharp shooter was incorrect. my mistake (cc: @IASTATE07 )

my larger point still remains that he wouldve been a better use of a scholarship for the 2019-20 season than Luke Anderson or Marcedus Leech were. Really any grad transfer guard would've been

I bumped this thread after i saw Elijah had a career game the other night and wanted to share my opinion of how i wish ISU had pursued him

Yes, hindsight is 20/20 but i'm going to play a-lot of "what if" this season since staff essentially wasted 2 scholarships on Leech and Anderson

Elijah didn't transfer until May. Leech & Anderson both signed in Nov. If we didn't sign those 2, it would have been 2 other HS fall signees.

The only way you can play the Mitrou Long hindsight game is if your argument is we shouldn't have signed Bolton, Grill or Johnson. For 2019/20 and beyond- I like the guys we signed last spring.
