Hoping Elijah finds "his place". He has had a tough journey! Seems like a great young man.

"I’ve decided to take my talent elsewhere and finish my last year year at the collegiate level. This journey has been one that I wouldn’t change for anything and I’m ready for the next chapter in my book.”:EM-L

From the UT message board:
I'm sure Long will qualify as a graduate, even if he needs to take some summer classes. Ever hear the one about Zoran Talley cramming 27 hours into a single summer to get the grad exemption for ISU? If Long doesn't qualify as a graduate, then he's running the risk of ending his career a season too soon, and I suspect he has no intention of doing that.

Response: Talley? did he play with George Niang on some of the notable ISU teams under Fred H.?.......

Is your expectation that someone outside of ISU should have an encyclopedic memory of the ISU roster? I mean if Talley was a guy that played 30 minutes a game that would be one thing, but that's just not the case.

I would love to know his intentions. Seems like landing at UT was a pretty good place to be, except for the coach, the other players, and the fans. Seriously, I wonder what he is looking for. More minutes, more wins, particular geographic location, etc.

Not my expectation.. I don't think most UT fans even know their own BB roster.

The article was included in the link to the UT message board which included discussion about Elijah's remaining eligibility. Found it interesting that ISU was even mentioned in the discussion. It was just a quote from their board.

ISU might have been on their radar due to the brother connection. Their fans probably heard about it like we did when the two teams played. But know about Talley WAS kind of out there...

Elijah would've been a perfect addition for this years squad. 6th man sharp shooter off the bench

Yes, hindsight is 20/20 but i'm going to play a-lot of "what if" this season since staff essentially wasted 2 scholarships on Leech and Anderson

I mean technically those are Foster and Dubar's scholarships now.

32% from 3 at Texas. Quite the sharp shooter.

35.3 career
107-303

Im not saying he'd have made ISU a Final Four contender but he'd be a better use of a scholarship for the 2019-20 season than Anderson or Leech were

All that being said, he probably went to UNLV so he could play a ton, of which he is and likely wouldve been a role player at ISU

He's a sibling of a Cyclone legacy and playing for an ex-ISU asst so i wish him a ton of success at UNLV

Let's round it up to 36%. Weird definition of a sharp shooter.
