Electric mowers - maintenance? Tips?

We recently became homeowners and I jumped in and bought an electric mower.

The manual has lots of warnings about wet conditions so I’m just curious if anyone has experience to share? Like should I only mow when it’s bone dry and avoid dewy mornings? Critical to wipe out built up grass clippings religiously? Or are these new electric mowers robust but just littered with warnings to prevent people from trying to mow in a monsoon?

Anybody with half an ounce of respect for their own yard doesn't mow when its wet. It's extremely bad for both your yard and lawn mower.

That being said, I have an electric mower and it's does just fine mowing in normal conditions. The batteries are usually more expensive than the mower though.
