Please explain for someone who was at the game.

Looked like a cluster**** of officiating.

Nobody at the game is going to be able to tell you anything else. Ejim pushed the dude off of him and his hand hit him in the face. It was a pretty weak technical as technicals go.

They said he extended his arm and smacked Spraddling in the face when they were getting broken up...

To me, if they don't call it live they shouldn't be able to call it...I thought they could only review for Flagrant 1s and 2s.

Even the announcers said it looked worse in slow motion so they shouldn't have called it.

He seems to be on the receiving end of sooooo many BS calls because he is hustling. The technical for hanging on the rim, the "over the back" put back dunk. If his name is Craft, those are all just considered good hustle plays, he seems to get shafted on his hustle.

I thought the grab of his chin was worse than anything that he did while trying to get up. I was proud of the restraint he showed considering how roughed up he got on the play. He hasn't always been able to control his emotions.

This is what I gathered watching the explanation by the officials to Fred.

To me it was an obvious no call all around. Just call a jump ball, tell everyone to settle down and give the alternate possession to the correct team.

Very much so. My favorite Ejim play in his four years was against OU two years ago when he just got his *** kicked and thrown on the floor about four consecutive plays. Then led with a shoulder so hard on a pick the OU guy just got leveled and Edge got tossed. He catches so many bad calls it is insane

I thought it was a weird T, but those things happen. Did it really require 5 hours to sort it out?

Upside of that, maybe, emotion from the play had time to dissolve and Melvin calmly sank the FTs.

While I was watching on TV, I initially thought they'd call a foul on Spradling & then thought they'd 'T up Kane for initiating a minor skirmish by pushing Spradling. I even thought they might possibly get the KSU kid for pulling on Ejim's chin. Was completely shocked that the T ended up being assessed to Mel. Terrible call. In the "old days," that whole series would be a tie-up, refs would have stepped in to calm both teams down, and then the possession would have been ISU's. (Although, if the opponent was KU, it would have been traveling on Mel, technicals on both Mel and Kane, and Kansas would get 4 FTs and possession of the ball).
