I need to take a class that will satisfy my U.S. Diversity requirement. Any suggestions? I'm not being lazy looking for an easy one, I just have enough crap to do with my engineering major. I have been dreading these classes just because they don't look like any fun. :skeptical:

Women's studies is usually informative. I thought it would be extremely boring but I've learned a lot and had a good time. Oh, I'm taking it online. WS 386 right now, 201 this summer.

Not positive what the gist of the speech is, but I have two friends who took it last semester and just a few weeks into the course they had to give a huge speech on I believe the Civil Rights movement. Just sounded ugly hearing about it.

I feel like this is a class all the freshmen take because it has the word sex in it. Cool thing to do ya know? Maybe that isn't the case.

I'm sure that might be the case except that the class fills up before most freshmen and sophomores even register. About 40% seniors, 30% juniors, and the rest sophomores and freshmen.

And it's about 50-50 male to female if that was worrying you as well

Yeeeeaaaahhhhh how about no. :twitcy:

I actually took that class. Very easy and interesting but incredibly hard to get in to...I couldn't until my senior year. Not sure which of these fall under U.S. diversity but here are some incredibly easy classes at ISU (you show up, you pass):

Theatre 106 - intro to theatre
Music 102 - introduction to music listening
Geo 101 - rocks for jocks
Relig 210 - intro to world relig
Most Womens studies or HDFS classes....lets be honest...

Or try something in the college of business, usually pretty easy and you learn some information that's pretty useful in the real world.

I took African American history, thinking I would coast if I just acted like I agreed with everything the professor said. He saw right through that ******** and gave me a B-.

Hist 473 Civil Rights and Black Power, especially if you've ever taken Hist 361.

I got a B in 361, an A- in 473 after taking 361.
