Are there any Fanatics that watch Cyclone sports on the Eastside of Des Moines/Pleasant Hill area? I didn't know if there was a bar that was Cyclone friendly for games.

Unfortunately, it's pretty hawkeye over on that side of town. I grew up in P-Hill and lived in Altoona for a while and there's never been a great place to watch ISU. Most places will show the games, but you get some bartender with a hawk hoody on, which isn't that big of a deal if he's cool, but the problem is, not all are (talk smack, act like a jerk, etc).
I would usually go to Legend's in P-Hill with my buddies, but Gerri's isn't too bad either and depending on when you go, Fireside in Altoona can be okay if you go during day games, but I've witnessed far too many fights there to ever really seriously consider going there again.
I wouldn't care if Hayden Fry himself was behind the bar, Gerri's wings are just too damn good.
