MLB: Dunn To The D-Backs

I was thinking that this would get done before the first deadline. Good move for Arizona.

wow, they did end up getting a veteran bat in the line up besides tony Clark (pry not the answer haha). Good counter move to the addition of Manny in LA, but good enough to keep them atop the lack luster NL West?

If the Dodger bullpen keeps throwing away leads in the opponent's last at-bat (like they did two times this weekend), it probably will be. Must be a little frustrating for Torre, after having had Rivera for so many years.

Anyway, go Dodgers...

Sheesh, Adam Dunn actually got traded! I think he's been on everyone's "likely to be traded at the deadline" list for the last 3 seasons or more. It's about time the Reds actually did something with him!

The ball carries pretty well in their home ballpark, too.

The Donkey might just hit one beyond the pool.

Reds are really re-tooling (and they need to - they've been pretty poor).

How the heck did this guy clear waivers? I can't believe another National League team didn't block this.

I think if it was possible for no one to win the NL West, that would happen this year. What a disappointment. My Dodgers get Manny and they still can't seem to find any rhythm on offense. The bullpen has been letting us down recently too. The sad part is, they haven't lost any ground on the D-Backs who are playing equally as bad.
