Flash forward........2020, Bears win superbowl. David Montgomery is MVP. Every single sports talking point on every wavelength is asking "How did ISU not win more games back in 2018 with DM, Butler, and Brock Purdy?"

It's not like we didn't have success with those guys. 2018 was probably the best football season we've had in my lifetime. 2017 was top 5.
It's a Chicago thing. If Andre Dawson can do it for the last-place Cubs in 1987, I'm confident that DM and the Bears can make it happen.
I'm happy for the dude, he deserves it, but he's in the big show now, thinking about how to dominate the NFL. He'll probably keep this award in his 5th guest bathroom.
