Had a similar issue a few years ago. I found that the drain line had a kink in it. It had a real tight turn at the garage disposal and basically failed after years of use. The water couldn’t exit the dishwasher. I fixed the line and the issue went away. Is there standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher after the cycle is complete. If so, it may be the drain line.
We have hardwood flooring in the kitchen. The flooring swelled a small amount from the moisture and stained the ceiling tiles in the basement below. After a short period of time the flooring dried and returned to normal. Ceiling tiles were replaced.
