Dirty Chris Hassell at it again

It’s ok to admit we didn’t reach a goal and build off that and learn from that. Maybe that’s part of the process of becoming the best versions of ourselves.

He just came off as a guy that can’t accept the failure to reach Dallas.

He said the same God damn thing last year when we made Dallas. Hell he's said this every year. The goal of being the best version of themselves has always been first and foremost no matter the amount of achievement that comes with. Apparently you've had your head stuck so far up your ass the past 6 years you never caught on

Quinn is right on the money here though.
Brady Quinn is the most idiotic announcer out there. If he says it’s bad, consider it to be a great achievement.
Quinn is making way too much out of it. Like he's got 5 min of nothing else to talk about, so let's go.

He's a Talking @ick-Head this time. He should stick with stuff he knows. He doesn't know Campbell and he would never make a coach like Campbell.

He had a chance to make the point, but you could tell by distress in his voice he was triggered about it.

He knows his goal wasn’t meant and he’s bothered by it. That’s ok.

I still love the guy and think he’s the best thing to happen to us, but his comment and emotional reaction were dumb.
IYO.

His job is to coach this team. I don't consider this team to be a failure. Do you?

I suppose you might answer yes. It's your right I guess.

Or he's just being cerebral and doesn't want to make his players feel like they've disappointed him or a fan base.
I'm sure it couldn't be that.

The reality is they both did disappoint the fan base. He’s ultimately responsible. Protect the players, sure. But don’t ignore the obvious that this season didn’t remotely meet expectations. Matt Campbell is the best coach in school history, but he had a crap season. Two things can be true. Here’s to a rebound season.

This is the real life application of the "if a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it did it actually make a noise" question.

If a sports commentator makes a dumb comment, but does so on CBS Sports Network with absolutely no one watching, did they really even make a dumb comment at all?
