Did ISU not get an Athlon cover?

This does not surprise me. I once watched a youtube video that made espn where a mom had all the small helmets of the big 12 and we were not in that. I'm thinking hmmmm this is the big 12 and there are only 11 helmets???
 
Well, its obvious everybody: we have already excepted an invitation to the Big 10, behind closed doors, and the Big 12 is getting back at us by not putting us on a cover. :wink::biggrin:

I guess we would be the "exception" if we did get an invite. That would be acceptional. :cute:
 
Athlon is a rag compared to Phil Steele's magazine anways. No big loss. Although I imagine some of my hawkeye brethren would be phoning in death threats right now if it was us... :wink:

This never makes sense to me coming from either side. We should be concerned with each other we are in state rivals that fight over the same recruits. How boring would it be if neither side cared?

i'd rip on them if they were left out of the big 10 covers
 
Even when ISU appears on the "regional" covers of these preseason hack efforts, you can't ever find them in Ames. Somehow Ames is squarely in Big Ten country, as far as the distributors are concerned.
