DENVER -- The Broncos will attempt to grant Brandon Marshall's request for a trade, a Denver televiaon station reported Tuesday
Fox31 reported the star receiver met with owner Pat Bowlen and reiterated a trade request.
"Yes there was a meeting between Brandon, and Mr. [Pat] Bowlen. There was a request for a trade. Mr. Bowlen has said that ownership will do everything in its power to accommodate his wishes," Marshall's agent, Kennard McGuire, told Fox31 Sports' Josina Andersen.
Trade partners, however, might be hesitant to give the Broncos equal value because of Marshall's history of off-field trouble. The receiver began last season on a one-game suspension.
I wonder what they will be able to get for him.

Would be nice to see him in a Bears uni, but I don't know how much left they have to give. Maybe they can give Denver all their draft picks for the next 10 years.

I am a Denver Fan and this sucks. Mike S was close, and just needed a little push to get over the top again. Just a few minor changes here and there. Now we are rebuilding something that didnt need it. Hopefully we dont go and Detroit ourselves this year.

I'll miss his performance but not the off the field crap. It's just a matter of time until he's suspended for a significant amount of games I would guess.

What the **** Bowlen?! You're gonna trade our two best players in the same offseason?!:skeptical:

I hate to say it but Denver is the now the worst team in the NFL. The only reason we may win a game next year is that we do get to play the Raiders twice.

Nowhere near the worst team, lets not jump off a cliff just yet. But middle of the pack isn't exactly a fun place to be. I still expect to finish second in the West.

No. We will still finish in the 7-10 win range.

I hope your both right. Denver gets rid of Shannan which I supported because I felt a change was needed. So we hire some punk kid from the Pats who runs off all our best offensive players and oh yeah has done NOTHING to fix our pathetic Defense.

Anything over 7 would honestly surprise me now. Without the top two weapons in your offense you're relying a LOT on Orton. Nothing against him, but he's not going to make any plays for you. I think he's someone you can rely on to not make too many bad mistakes, but without playmakers, Denver is in trouble. If the running game can't get going (no reason not too with all the moves in the off season there) things could be much worse than 7, in my opinion.

Keeping the same record or improving while installing new schemes is hard enough without losing your top two talents.

And lets not forget that 7-10 would put this team equal to or better than last years meltdown kings.

I honestly feel ISU has a significantly better chance of making more marked improvement than Denver. Not even close IMO

We still have Moreno, (and like 5 other running backs who can play) who was probably the best running back in the draft.

Not even considering that Moreno is a rookie, this past season they had like 5 running backs who could play. Even with that, they ended up getting Tatum Bell out of the Aurora Mall after luring him away from a great career in selling cell phones. The chiefs had Larry Johnson and without a legit passing threat, how'd that work for them? I just don't believe there's any way to spin this as a good thing, or even believe that they'll have as good of a team.

They had to go to Bell because they had 7(?) running backs on IR.

Im not a big Marshall fan ... but this hurts. If him and Cutler go the Bronco's might as well go easy on Knoshon this year & next so he's fresh when they can finally scrape something together in 2012 or 13 ...

I don't think that will happen again.

I don't either, but with no passing threat, if other teams load up to stop the run it certainly won't help. Moreno is unproven, Torrain is injury prone, Buckhalter and Jordan are both in their 10th year I believe... I'm not comfortable as a fan saying it's ok to lose the QB and best WR because we have Moreno.

I love the Broncos, but the changes and things going on make me cringe.

Yupp. I wasn't for firing Shannahan, and McDaniels has basically ruined the team in the 5 or 6 months he's been HC.

Oh man, Orton is going to be horrible for the Broncos. Orton is garbage. I wouldn't be suprised if Simms doesn't start in the 4th game of the year after they start out 0-3.
