It was a bad day for ranked teams to travel to Ames. Volleyball isn't getting much attention here this season, which is too bad. They're playing (mostly) better than they have over the last few years. The team is 16-4, 7-3 in the Big 12, winning their last four matches. I see at least five more wins this year if there are no let downs - maybe more than that if they can pull off the revenge match at Baylor.
All that really matters is the NCAA's - but we can get a top-16 seed and then tourney success is very possible.
Looks like a different team since Conaway was moved outside. A different team.
how did we look last night? I only saw from 17-13 in the 4th on. Didn't seem like as much blocking (though we ended on one!).
It was the most aggressive and balanced I've seen the team play this season. The team was amped up and Kansas wilted in those first two sets. If not for some ISU mistakes to start the 3rd, it could have been straight sets.
