"Watched an ISU Bball practice {Nat'l Champs, I think!}, met and worked a camp with Harrison Barnes{#1 Player in the Country}, coached some 4th graders in a 3 on 3 tournament { future stars!}, hanging out everyday with Chris Ihle and his kids { my new adopted family}, reconnected with my other adopted family { The Coberley's}, & started rehabing knee with the Best Trainer In The Country { Mark Coberley}... Not bad for my first week back in Ames... Thankful!!!"

Offensively and depth this team should be better. The 95 team was one of the best defensive teams in the country. Cato would force everything to the perimeter and Bankhead would shutdown the other teams offensive star. Loved that team...

I am with you. I have been drinking the Kool-Aid with a funnel and it tastes so good. Now hopefully when basketball comes around I am not going to regret it. It has been a long time since I have been this excited for Iowa State basketball.

Dedric is still one of my all time favorite Cyclones. He was so fun to watch when he was on. He would pull up from 8 ft beyond the arc, with a defender right in his grill and burry 3's all day long. He was so clutch. Loved that entire team. Cato was a force down low. Bankhead was a great defender and one of my other all time favs was Kenny Pratt. 6'3" playing the 3, with no outside shot to speak of but he always was hard to defend near the hoop.

Both played with the Chicago Bulls back in the 1999-2000 season. I'm sure they have a few stories to reminince on. Not sure who I would take in that shooting contest though. Great to have him back in the Cyclone state!
