Deace's opinion and defending himself on Iowa issue

All the back and forth blather over Capt. Kirk, slightly above average football coach. I'm sure he's got the pick of any NFL job he wants.

I agree with a lot of what he says, but I DONT think that Freerentz is outta here after next year. He'll wait one more to see his kid graduate. After that, I could see him leaving.

I believe he has one more kid in high school (I believe a son, but I could be wrong). I don't believe his son is a football recruit, and I think he's currently a junior. So in 2 years KF won't have any concrete ties to Iowa City. I could easily see him leaving at that point. Hope he doesn't, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

That's the one thing about Steve that I respect: He darn well KNEW that referring to that group as the "jihadic wing" would set them off.....but he did it anyway. Because it amused him to do so.
