Here is a story with Darius Darks in the Iowa State Daily. Here are the first two paragraphs:

Former ISU football coach Gene Chizik held a team meeting after Thanksgiving break in which he told players "he wouldn't quit", ISU wide receiver Darius Darks said.

"I'm more upset than most because it takes me a long time to trust," Darks said. "I've had a lot of people walk in and out of my life, and for this to happen it is like it is happening all over again. I traveled 1,000 miles to get away from all that, and now it happens here."

Chizik assured team he wouldn't leave at post-Thanksgiving meeting

"ISU athletic director Jamie Pollard has since held a meeting with the team, Darks said, and Pollard told the team he was going to go to work immediately to find them a new coach. The team has since tried to rally together, and the general consensus, Darks said, is that everyone wants to sit put until the future is more clear because they feel they have a good team."

I love that they are so loyal to each other and they have a bond to continue to be a team together. Says alot about these guys.

That really sucks. if it makes him feel better I wont leave him as long as he stays here.

There are many more people not leaving him now than the one person that left. Our program is better than one quitter.

The more that I hear about Cheesedick and this entire situation just makes my blood boil a little bit more.

I wonder if he even has an honest bone in his body?

After reading this, I think Darius would probably appreciate having his new Facebook page taken down. Hopefully, whoever created that would respect that. His name really doesn't need to be connected to that...

That damn near makes me want to cry. Whoever inherits this team inherits if not overall superior talent a team of character. Which is more than I can say for the jailbirds of EIU.

I hope Darks sticks around. We could use three more years of his stand against "************," and he has pretty good potential as a WR too.

some sources have them meeting in Indy today...but who really knows.

Thats what I was getting at..but what bothers me about that is if JP really is meeting TG in INDY, would we actually have any info at all on it? I mean, last time there was NOTHING leaked about jizzlik.

If Gill is the guy then I firmly believe that Pollard is the guy to get him here. Many people dislike Pollard for different reasons but he is a smart, smart guy. If Gill is who he wants I would say that Pollard is going to get him.
