Dalton Ferch at State Track meet

I thought about mentioning this in the Charles Rogers state track thread, but thought it might merit its own discussion.

I have seen Dalton Ferch on KCCI sports news in several spots about winning state track meet events. Nice to see this caliber of walk-on coming to our football program.

Was there the past 2 days. Didn't recognize the name so missed him.

Had a daughter running so wasn't paying as much attention to the guys.

Good stuff! That's one helluva walk-on. What a great athlete. Fast and can jump like crazy.

I was really disappointed when Teddy Lampkin didn't stick with football. Thought he could be a great big play speedster for us and return guy. Maybe Dalton could help us in those areas in future years. Sounds really athletic.

I see his time was 22.29 at state that would of placed Dalton 2nd place behind Harrington in 4a.
