Jerry Jones has said that he has no interest in relinquishing his duties as the man in charge of the Dallas Cowboys. So a Georgia man decided to see if the President of the United States could do something about it.
In the petitions section of the White House website, one was created for President Barack Obama to have Jones removed from his control of the Cowboys.
It reads: “We, the Citizens of the Great State of Texas, and Dallas Cowboys fans worldwide, have been oppressed by an over controlling, delusional, oppressive dictator for way too long. Request the Executive Branch’s immediate assistance in removal of owner and GM, Jerry Jones. His incompetence and ego have not only been an extreme disappointment for way too long, but moreover, it has caused extreme mental and emotional duress.â€￾
As of this post’s publishing, the petition was nearing 100 of the required 25,000 signatures needed to take it seriously.

Wasn't Texas one of the states that was sending a petition to the president about seceding from the US?

Aren't they usually on the forefront of too much government control?

Ironic?

Probably done as a joke, but in my opinion it needs to be taken off the website.

But then again... It's just Texas people being Texas people.
