Cyclones fueled by last season's rare home loss to Baylor

What about starting burton and assigning him to boxing out gathers. Hes the only one we got who can physically battle with gathers

Great article.

Will be interesting to see how the officials call the game. If they whistle Baylor for their physical play, human nature says they would probably try to even out the calls and we get whistled for a lot too. If they "let em play" so to speak it could get rough

at least this year, We won't have to worry about Cherry shoving Monte into the 2nd row to get the last shot off.

They should be fueled by a loss to UAB and UNI. Prohm should play bench more to keep complacency down.......same problem that Hoiberg had. This team is talented enough to win all their games left except 2....it is just a question of if they are going to sell out and if Prohm will creatively manage bench to get that done.

If we're gonna be a contender, the players, not Prohm will need to overcome the complacency.

You mean like when Cameron Dollar shoved Jacy Holloway into the crowd to send the Bruins to the Elite Eight?

HaHa; exactly - I was at that game! Great in-bounds call by Floyd, but too bad the refs swallowed their whistles.

I guess we're better at talking about how we're going to win, rather than actually winning.

No, it's just a wake up call.

There's absolutely no way that putting marginal effort up against bad non-conference teams with poor boxing out, standing around on offense, and doing things like giving up 60 points to a somewhat decent conference team at home could catch up at a crucial moment like the NCAA tourney.

Rob can save this article for next year and just change the scores, names, and a couple facts.
