Hey all,

I am new here. I graduated from ISU in '08 with a BS in Environmental Science. My wife graduated from ISU in '07. We live in Raleigh, NC where I am a graduate student in Soil Science at NC State (Go Wolfpack!).

I follow Cyclone Football religiously - even from 1,200 miles away. I also follow wrestling and other ISU olympic sports.

Here at NCSU I go to at least one Wolfpack baseball game a week every spring but I don't follow the rest of the sport teams as close, aside from reading the paper.

I'm originally from Estherville, Iowa (Go ELC Mighty Midgets!). I also have an older brother that has returned to school and is working on his BS in Agronomy at ISU even though he still cheers for the hawks (******). I grew up in a hawkeye (Mom's side of family) and cornhusker (Dad's side of family) family - only to one day see the light and go to ISU for my undergrad.

I've enjoyed reading the threads here the last few days as it has been the most up to date news on expansion that I've seen. Take care, and say Hi if you're ever in the Raleigh area.

A friend of mine just move to Raleigh a couple months ago, he is an ISU grad and fan. My wife and I just moved to Florida from Greenville, SC. Raleigh is a pretty cool place for sure. Good luck, hope the big 12 stuff gets figured out, and welcome!

Welcome! I love ncst's softball field. Its right over there by the track and the stands are set back into the hill. Very cool stadium.

The baseball stadium is set up the same way, only about 6 blocks to the west. They are both some of the nicest college baseball/softball settings I've seen.
