If you're interested in what the Cyclone Gridiron Club does and how they support the football team: https://www.cyclonegridironclub.com

For those that don't want to click the link and do their own research (ya lazy pups!): They raise money for special projects the football program and staff are not provided for in the annual budget.

Not sure how up-to-date this is:

We joined the Gridiron Club just before Covid hit. We were able to attend one members only event, a coaches meet and greet.

Keep in mind this is a nonprofit organization and my guess is this is a volunteer/working board program. Meaning no one is paid for their work.

IMO this organization has a ton of potential and (again IMO) it needs more volunteers. Not to serve as board members, but to help the board with things like recruiting more members (financial donors), getting the word out, creating/organizing and managing fundraising events, donor recognition, etc.

How much do they raise in a year?

How much do they raise in a year?

I haven't been successful in finding that information on their website.

It does state in the past 15 years they've donated 4.2 million to the football team for strength and conditioning equipment, meals for players and state-of-the-art technology.

The CGC also has pledged 2.5 million (250,000 per year for 10 years) to the Sports Performance Center.

I was on the board for several years. it fluctuates some but typically is about $250-280K/yr
