Don't know who all saw it, but mediacom played ISU's victory over OU for the Big 12 tourney championship during the home run derby the other day. I've seen a few other "ISU Classics" on mediacom this last year and really like watching the old games, especially basketball games with Tinsley and Fizer. I would love to see a replay of the victory over UCLA and even the loss to Michigan St. in the NCAA tourney. Not sure who has the rights to these games but they sure would be fun to see again on tv. I've also seen some games with The Mayor and the Insight.com Bowl, those are great too.

Mediacom should keep it up and continue to expand, if they can, the number of different games they show. Any games the rest of you would like to see on tv again?

texas bb games. both the one here where it was so loud klotz couldnt even draw iron, and the one in austin where tasheed had his 15 minutes as a clone.

Here's a few that I wouldn't mind seeing again....

In Bball would like to see the Big 8 Championship game when Dedric and Kenny and the boys took down KU in Kemper. Heck, might as well replay all three games of the tourney; or the two wins in Allen Fieldhouse with Tinsley and Fizer; the Texas game when Fizer dunked over Mihm along the baseline; ANY time we beat the Doug Smiths, Anthony Peelers, and who was that guy who wore the "band-aid"?, and all those other losers from Missouri in Ames; ANY game when Barry Stevens played KU and Larry Brown at Hilton. For those of you who missed seeing Barry, wow, he was really an exciting player; how about the "LaFester game vs the dark side; the Johnny Orr team that beat Michigan up in Minneapolis in the 2nd round of the tourney; Hey old guys - think there's any tape out there of Hercle Ivy and Art Johnson playing in a game we actually won? Remember the year Herc lead the Big 8 in scoring, Art lead the league in rebounding, and we only won, what, three games? Thank you Ken Trickey!

Football is tougher. Remember, we only used to be televised when ISU was playing someone more maketable like OU or Neb on the road. Therefore, we lost. When we were 5-0 with Dwayne Crutchfied and beat UI in Ames - was that on the tube? That'd be fun to see! How about the Earle Bruce team that went 8-3 and lead the Big 8 in total offence, losing only to the top 3 teams in the nation; when we tied NU in Ames back in the 70's and missed the extra point - don't think the cameras were there..; more recently, how about when Chris Peterson led us to a come from behind victory out in Boulder in the snow; or any game in which TDavis ran for 300+ and we won the game, complete with frequent camera shots of the TD -O-Meter.

That's about all I can think of for now. Let me know when these get scheduled on Mediacom!

How 'bout 2002 when Seneca and the boys kicked the dogsqueeze out of Nebraska? That one was on ABC. Or how 'bout 2004 when we beat Nebraska again?
