Cy Rubber-Duckie for sale!

OK, I'm trying to find completely unique and fun items to be able to sell on the site and I think I've found the perfect item, the Cy Rubber-Duckie:yes4lo: Let me know what the interest would be in these so I can decide if it would be worth it. I have not been able to get final pricing but they would be around $8. They will be produced in September for shipping in October and would make a perfect Christmas present.

I would get at least one. It would be nice to have more unique items like this marketed towards ISU. Thats pretty creative. I would love to see Pollard have an influence on the marketing of ISU products. There is no reason we cant have any merchandising item that any other school has. Great find Jeremy!
 
Cool! Would they hold up in the bath tub? I think my kids and my nieces and nephews would love it as a bath toy. One for the office as stress toy is a must.
 
I plan on having some in the office so I can use it when I find out my department closes again. I think they will hold up in the tub just fine but I haven't personally tested them:)
 
If you could get a Cy Trophy... that could be used as an award for various events... I've been looking for something like that for a while... and I know multiple of them would be purchased by me for various things.
 
I would absolutely buy this. Just look at the determination on his face! No WAY Cy's gonna let you get away without washing behind your ears. Bath time's going to be so much fun again!
 
Count me out! I can think of much better things to spend my money on related to the Cyclones. I don't even think my kids who are 4 and 6 would care for it either. It doesn't have anything that shoots or makes it fly. Maybe if it had a windup and would swim around the tub they might be in for it.

Do you have ADHA? If it doesnt fly or set itself on fire, its worthless? Take some Ridilin, and try to sit still for more than 10 seconds at a time. I guess ISU should only sell bottle openers than sing the school fight song, or buttons with flashy lights. Forget about selling new and different stuff, i just want something to occupy the short attention span of myself and my kids.
 
I would get a couple.

A unique item I was trying to purchase online was a steak branding iron with the ISU logo. They are available for almost all colleges. Baylor and ISU are the only two schools in the Big 12 that don't have one. When I emailed the supplier to see if an ISU iron could be added, here is his reply (not sure if he was serious or not):

We have been trying for quite some time to get an Iowa State license but they won’t issue one because they just feel that it would be a huge liability is students started branding each other. University of Florida is the exact same way. We’ll keep working on them though. I’ll save your email and if we should get them added I’ll certainly drop you an email.

I like it! Those would be easy enough to make one's self, were it not for the licensing issue. Maybe I'll have some made with a non-trademarked design. Feel free to submit ideas.
 
This doesn't seem like much of a surprise to me (branding iron). I work with the licensing department on a daily basis, the girls are great to work with, but sometimes the reasoning behind the decisions is perplexing, to say the least.
 
I support the RDuckie idea also.

Can they also stickon a favorite jersey number on them to make them even more individual?.
