The cubs minor leaguer Josh Vitters had a great week in Midwestern League play going 13-27 with 5 home runs and 3 double while driving in 10. He did strike out 5 times thou. For the Month of May he's hitting .403:biggrin:

Just a little too early for a call-up, but the Cubs could really use a guy like that.
hes going to be a good one though. will be nice to have when aramis' career is coming to an end
he's also only 19 years old and looks like he has some serious potential.meh....this guy is in the midwest league. Let me know when he starts tearing up AA or AAA.

You should, Vitters is the Cubs top hitting prospect right now. He is going to be a stud.
Hey he's in the majors.Just like Luis Montanez, a former number 1 overall draft pick for the cubbies. :biglaugh:
Hey he's in the majors.
If he ain't suppose to be great then why were the Padres demanding that he be in any Peavy deal?![]()
So was Michael Jordan, even though he was a replacement player (don't discount them, see Kevin Millar, Brendan Donnelly, and Damian Miller) but has he had the career a number 1 overall draft pick should?Hey he's in the majors.
