Well, it wasn't that long ago that Reed Johnson was a big part of the Cubs team and somewhat of a fan favorite. That's probably the only significance of the story and why it was posted. It's nice to see him come back I guess.

He'll be lucky to make the opening day roster ast the 5th OF unless they find a way to trade Fukudome.
