I really don't understand why the Cubs organization is so hell bent on making this trade.
I think that D-ro is a GREAT option at second with Fotenenot backing him up.
I don't see this as making the Cubs any better, no matter what you give up.
You don't see how an all star 2nd baseman can make this team better? Not to mention he is a leadoff hitter which would help this team out in more ways than one. It would allow Soriano to move down in the order where he belongs, giving us a much more potent lineup. IMO, if we make this trade the Cubs will have a top 3 offense in the NL.I really don't understand why the Cubs organization is so hell bent on making this trade.

You do realize that Derosa is 33 don't you? Thats not very young.I agree, especially becaue d ro is young and could be huge in coming years.

Okay... Soriano's numbers have always suffered when he is moved out of the leadoff spot. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
We will have plenty of offense without Roberts...
1) Soriano
2) Fukudome
3) Lee
4) Rami
5) Soto
6) Derosa
