What are the options tonight for Mediacom subscribers in central Iowa? It seems unbelievable that this game is not on mainstream cable.

I believe mlb.com or mlb.tv you can watch it for free. I may be wrong on that.

Maybe. If you have Mediacom, it won't work.
I just got off the phone with MLB.tv, because I would actually love to pay them for this, and Mediacom is not one of their supported providers for the website, either.

So, if you Mediacom, it's streaming or watch away from home.

Its 213 on direct. I dont even think you have to have the sports package
You need to at least have the choice package to have it, no sports pack necessary. Pretty much if you have Direct, and don't have the MLB Network, you also don't have ESPNU, Big 10 Network, SEC Network, NBC Sports, etc.

Direct TV has the deal, and I have Direct TV. However, because I will not be on the same network as my Direct TV receiver, I will not be able to watch the game (At least, that's what I was told.)

MLB is really doing an awful job with this.

I have a DirecTV login at my disposal. Will I be able to use it on either:

A) MLB.tv
or
B) the DirecTV app on my iPad

I just talked to someone from MLB.tv. She was kind of a ***** (I didn't complain or anything but I'm sure she's gotten a million calls on this) but answered a few questions.

The only way a Direct TV subscriber can watch this is if they pay $10 for the postseason all access.

If you have Direct TV, but are not in the same location as the Direct TV receiver, you can't watch the game. You must pay the $10 and watch it through MLB.tv.

Pretty lame. I guess I will hope for a good stream link somewhere. MLB's television decisions are a joke.
