MLB: Cub's Bullpen

Gregg isn't the problem, as he's actually been somewhat consistent this season. Heilman, on the other hand leaves a giant turd on the mound every time he goes out there.

Well, at least they got out of it without giving up the lead. I can only imagine how the crowd treated those two when they came off the field.

Len: "Kevin Gregg just didn't have it today."

No ****?

What do you want him to say? He might be thinking the same things we are - "THROW STRIKES MOTHER****ER!!!!!!!!" - but he can't say them.

Why Lou continues to trust Heilman in any situation other than mop-up duty is beyond me.

I really wish that they wouldn't have traded Garrett Olson to the M's for Heilman. Hendry needs to stop trading with Florida for pitchers everyone he gets can't pitch at wrigley. Cotts needs to go and they need to call up Stevens or Guab

Gregg was 100% the problem today. Heilman maybe takes 2% of the blame, max!

Im just hoping that Soriano hits a homer to win the game that's the only way this game doesn't become a total meltdown

Heilman was brought in to clean up the mess, but did what he always does:

It's a big one, must be Heilman

The most ****ed up part? Heilman getting the win. Right now, I can only wonder what's going through Randy Wells' head - thats twice he's pitched shutout ball, only to see the pen blow it.

That being said, **** you LaTroy. About 6 of more of those and you'll have given back all those games you blew as a Cub.

Marshall gets the win...

I really don't know why you guys are complaining so much about the bullpen. They had 13 straight scoreless innings before the 9th today. Gregg had a bad day, it happens.

Guzman is having a great year so far and he is probably our 7th inning guy now. Just settle down people, they still won today.

Good thing we let that Kerry Wood guy walk. All he was good for was throwing strikes and saving games.
