Game 1 of 39 spring training games is on. Can't beat listening to Pat and Ron in February.

2 up, 2 Down so far for Samardzija.

No idea. I'm in my office. I share a subscribtion to MLB.com Audio with a guy here, so I'm listening to that. The other guy is in Arizona at the game. What a punk! 80 Degrees and Cubs Baseball right now would be awesome.

Something the Twins demonstrated all so well last year. . . .

Twins fans don't want to go kill themselves if they choke.

And do you even realize what the Twins had to work with? They lose Santana and Hunter, and they are still one run away from the playoffs. Their payroll is half that of the Cubs as well.

I don't remember wanting to kill myself. I think the deal is that when the Cubs choke you hear about it. When the Twins choke, no one cares.

I talked to Cub fans that wanted to never go to games again, called in sick at work, read stories on fans who were giving up season tickets, fans who were going to follow new teams, fans calling in crying on radio shows after they lost last year.

Obviously not all Cub fans are like this, but man you Cub fans are defensive.

Oh, and I never said anyone cared about the Twins choking. They didn't even Choke at all.... that guy made the most rediculous claim saying they choked when they were predicted by everyone to have a bad bad season. That would be called overachieving. The Cubs had a great year and choked in the playoffs. Can't call it any other way than that.

I don't even hate the Cubs, I just think they will choke again.

Sounds pretty similar to this board after a Cyclone game.

Is it the Cubs fault they have 5x the fan base as the Twins...therefore they have much more money to work with?

So it's ok to choke in the last two weeks of the season if you were predicted to suck at the beginning of the season?

I guess that lose to Hampton wasn't so bad then.

Maybe you should stay out of Cubs threads if all your going to do is make back-handed comments and we'll stay out of any Twins threads if any are ever started.

God I hope you guys are listening. Hearing about how Ronny owes Pat money for a roast beef sandwich.
This makes me feel like summer is coming, with Ron talking about nothing.....

My favorite last year was when Ron asked what language Pat's German shepard spoke or something along those lines. He went on for about five minutes with it.
