Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid for world record fee

Bid accepted by Manchester United for $131 mil USD. Just an absurd price to pay for him and Kaka combined this past week-$228m. Madrid did something similar a few years back when they bought Ronaldo, Zidane, Beckham and others. Cristiano Ronaldo is not officially a player as he can decline the offer I believe but wow this is the Yankees of Europe.

Well, if I understand correctly... that is just basically to buy Ronaldo from ManU. They are still going to have to pay him a salary on top of it all.

relegated, not regulated lol. but yes. they finished 18th of 20 teams this season. the bottom 3 are moved down to English Leauge Championship. top 3 from there are moved up to EPL

oh yea its only a bid that has been accepted by man utd. ronaldo has to agree to it still and terms still have to be worked out

The transfer fee is the amount they pay for the rights to sign a player, they will still have to pay a seperate amount for his salary, and assumingly it has already been agreed to. Maybe now Arsenal has a shot, not sad to see him leave ManUre.

arsenal will have to spend and bring in some experienced talent in defense and possibly midfield. right now they can not compete for a title with liverpool chelsea and united
