Cornerback Sam Richardson??

Is he still on the team??? He wasn't the greatest cover corner, but neither are any of the guys we have playing now. I thought Sam was one of our better open field tacklers. We could use a guy who can tackle.

You are correct. He was hurt and now just behind everyone.

Too bad. He seemed like he was really good, but I see no issue with just throwing him back out there and getting him back into the swing of things. At this point who cares...

For me, he seemed the most dependable tackler last year in the secondary.

He is good at coming up and making tackles but his coverage is a joke. He was playing mostly special teams last week I believe. Peavy is gaining some really good experience going up against future NFL guys. He was on Doctson for a good part of the TCU game.
