That's the rumors at this point. Probably won't find out anything concrete for a while though. Would be devastating if true.

He's been dealing with a foot injury and boot is precautionary. At least that's what is being sold in certain corners of the internet. Could be true. Remember the level 5 **** storm when Kane was walking around campus with a boot and he played just fine against KU the next day.
I've heard they won't allow Cooper and the punter to be anywhere near each other so that all hope is not lost should there be an accident.
If he was really hurt in practice it makes you wonder what the hell they were doing in practice, unless it was a freak non-contact thing. He’s probably the most important guy on your team.
