MLB: Contreras Finds Fountain of Youth

Apparently a short stint in AAA is all he really needed. Of course, I didn't get to watch today's game, because KFXA has decided to suck lately, but Contreras' stats over the last two games:

16 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 3 BB, 11 K

He has a NTC, but one would have to imagine some team might be interested if he is pitching like he's 34 again.

I would say it would be a huge stretch to think that contreras would be trade bait. GM's around the league dont even know his legitimate age! Why would they make a move for him?

Expiring contract, a rubber arm, and guy who's gotten it done on the biggest stage.

Also, for any team that might have a Cuban player, he's been said to be helpful to Alexei Ramirez.

I could care less if he's 57, you'd only be acquiring him for the rest of the year.
