There is a chance we could finish in a tie with Baylor, if they lose at Texas tomorrow night and we win our last two home games (one being Baylor).

Checking the Big 12 Conference website for tourney seeding, it looks like the win against KU would give us the third seed. We would be splitting head to head against BU and then the next tiebreaker is results of games against the highest finishing team(s) (KU & Mizzou). Baylor lost all four against those two teams.

If did finish as a 3 seed, we would most likely play OSU on Thursday night in KC.

I believe the top 6 teams get first round byes and the bottom 4 would play Wed night. KU and Mizzou would play the winners of the bottom 4 and if we finished with a 3 seed we'd play the six seed thurs night which would be Texas, not okie st.

Good to know. I was expected the tiebreaker to be total record. I really don't want us to have to face KSU in the first round of the tourny.

BU @ home will be important for both Big 12 and NCAA seeding

Not only that Baylor vs Texas is huge. We own the tiebreaker with Baylor so if Texas pulls it out this week, that is a big help in us getting 3rd.

Not only from a seeding perspective, but from a confidence standpoint at well. I'm anxious to see how Royce does in Round 2 against the Bears. He was openly frustrated after the first game -- I can see him going off against them in Hilton.

Hell, I'm anxious to see how RW plays against TT. His play against Baylor coupled with his foul trouble against OU makes me think he'll come out for blood. I kind of pity the Red Raiders.

We really don't have a clue who the 6 seed will be. It could easily be Texas, KSU or OSU

Oops, my bad. Or KSU.
